I am 5 foot 7, around 155 lbs and pear shaped. It hugs in all the right places but is loose (like I wanted). For a more fitted look the medium probably would have done just fine but I wanted comfort to wear with leggings without having to pull and adjust or suck in. Great purchase! Very happy :)
